Kinney. In Damascus Tp., Henry county, O., Nov. 3d, 1886, Jacob Kinney, aged 83 years. Mr. Kinney was one of the early settlers in this county. In company with the companion of his youth who still survive him, they entered the almost unbroken forest of Henry county, possessed of strong physical powers with a will to succeed, they were soon the owners of a pleasant home, in which he lived many long and happy years. In the late years of his life he gave his son, W. B. Kinney, full possession of his home, dismissing the care of business and anxiety. He was the possessor of the comforts which religion yields. It was the privilege of the writer to frequently visit these aged ones in the years of their infirmity, and hear them speak of their confidence in Him who had said "I will never leave thee." J. W. M.
