On Thursday morning last death relieved Mr. Josiah W. Hudson from all suffering in this life, and called him to the mysterious hereafter. Mr. Hudson had been in extremely poor health for a long time, and had waited submissively for death to relieve him, and when the grim messenger did make his appearance he found his victim willing and ready to accompany him. He was an old and respected citizen of this place, leaving a large circle of relatives and friends to mourn his departure. His funeral took place on Friday afternoon, from his late residence on Clinton street, Rev. Donahey officiating. Mr. Hudson was in the 80th year of his age.
