HOOVER. On Friday, Aug. 22nd, 1890, Agnes, little twin daughter of Martin and Rose Hoover, aged 5 years, 7 months and 1 day.

Dear little Agnes. I miss her so!
All through the day, wherever I go,
All through the night, how lonely it seems,
For no little hands awake me out of my dreams,
I miss her all through the weary hours,
I miss her as others miss sunshine and flowers;
Day time or night time wherever I go.
Dear little Agnes, I miss her so.

Dear little Agnes, she has gone from me now,
Will never again place her hand on my brow,
Never again smooth my sorrowful face,
Never clasp me in childish embrace,
And now my forehead grows wrinkled with care,
Thinking of the little hands once resting there;
But I hope in a happier and brighter clime,
