HOLLOPETER On the 22nd of December, 1888, in Harrison township, Henry Co., O., by that dreaded disease, consumption, Carrie, daughter of D. and A. Hollopeter, aged, 21 years. For many years she suffered at times, hope would revive her that she might yet battle that disease which was but fastening its hold upon her system possessing a nature that was more than ordinary ambitions, she wished to excel whatever she engagesIt was with the greatest of reluctance that the finally yielded to her condition. She was kind and affable in manner so as to gather about her a large number of real friends who very often found at her home, with, words of cheer and sunshine to console one they loved so well." A large number of friends gathered in Olive Branch church to take the final earthly leave of one so dear to their hearts.
