OBITUARY -- Hohenbarger, On April 17, 1884, Henrietta Hohenbarger, aged 27 years and 22 days.

The deceased was a daughter, of P. C. Bane, of Pleasant township, Henry county, O., and suffered with consumption over a year. Her life though one of trial and struggles was a life full of contentment and happiness. She had a very large circle of warm and devoted friends, whose friendship she fondly cherished and to whom her death will be a keen loss. With her kind, cheerful and pleasant manners she won the esteem and gained the approbation of those with whom she associated, gathering about her a large circle of friends in whose memories she lives though the grave has hid her from mortal view. A large funeral gathering witnessed the service of the hour and looked for the last time on earth on the form of one who now sleeps sweetly in their family cemetery awaiting the resurrection morn to be again united with loved ones on the evergreen shore.

Sleep sweetly in the silent tomb
For soon the hour will come,
When we will meet in that bright Home
With those before us gone.
How sweet to think that on our eyes
A lovelier clime shall yet arise,
That we shall wake from sorrows dream
Beside a pure and living stream.
