Hoffman. On the 6th of Nov. 1889, in Damascus township, Henry county, Ohio, after a lingering illness by that dread disease, consumption, Lucy E. Hoffman, aged about 21 years.

By her kindness of heart and affability of manners, she gathered about her a large number of friends, who, with sad hearts gathered in Olive Branch Church on the 7th to show their love and affection for one whom death claimed. J. W. M.
