Hicks. On Sept. 6, 1882, near Portage, Wood county, Ohio, Anna Hicks, aged 74 years. Mother Hicks formerly resided in Liberty township, this county. She lived a devoted Christian life and died in the faith of her Redeemer. She was greatly attached to her children and no sacrifice was too great for her to make in their behalf.
