HERR, Died, May 29th, 1887 Mary Etta, only daughter of Henry and Hannah Herr, near Malinta, Ohio, aged 8 years and eleven days. She leaves father, mother, two grandmothers and a large number of friends to mourn her departure. Funeral services were held at the Shunk Church at 10 a. m. by Rev. Calwell, the remains being followed to the grave by a large number of friends and sympathizing neighbors.

Darling Etta, we have lain thee in thy narrow bed
Never more to hear thy calling till we're numbered with the blest.
Thou art gone from out the household and we'll ever miss thee there
But the shining hope within us tells of a meeting bright and fair,
Lay away the little dresses that our darling used to wear
For we, all do miss bright Etta when we see the vacant chair
We all at last hope to meet her when life's trials are done,
In our Father's shining mansion where affl;ictions never come.
