The trial of LEWIS for the murder of HATCH some weeks ago, commenced in the Common Pleas Court on Tuesday, terminating at half past 9 o'clock last evening, when the jury retired to render their verdict. Up to the hour of going to press, the verdict had not been handed in. During the proceedings of the trial the Court room has been filled. TYLER, of Perrysburg, and TYLER, of this place, are counsel for the prisoner, and POPPLETON, of Delaware, and MEEKISON and HAGUE, of Napoleon, for the prosecution.
