Harman. -- On Jan, 2, 1883, in Pleasant township, Henry county, O., Eliza Harman , daughter of C. and C. Harman, aged 19 years, 1 month and 4 days.

After a brief illness of but a few months, though young and dearly beloved by the companions of her youth, she was willing and ready to depart. With her kind cheerful and pleasant manners won the esteem and gained the approbation of those with whom she associated; gathering about her a large circle of friends in whose memories she lives, though the grave has hid her from mortal view. A large funeral gathering witnessed the service of the hour and looked for the last time on earth on the form of one who now sleeps sweetly in the Highland Township Cemetery, awaiting the resurrection morn to be again united with loved ones on the evergreen shore.

Sleep sweetly in the silent tomb,
For Boon the hour will come,
When we will meet In that bright home
With those before us gone.

How sweet to think that on our eyes,
A lovelier clime shall yet arise,
That we shall wake from sorrows dream,
Beside a pure and living stream.
