Obituary:

James Haley, whose place of residence was in Richfield township, and wellknown here, was instantly killed by a train on the D. & M., near Custar, on Monday night. The particulars as we learned them, are that he got drunk at the above place, and in the evening started for his home. It is supposed he laid down on the side of the track and fell asleep. His head was severed from the body. Several years ago he lost his left arm under similar circumstances. He was a single man. Deshler Flag.
