Obituary:

We clip the following death notice from the Horton, Kansas, Commercial. Mr. Fisher was formerly a resident of this city: Grant P. Fisher, son of Mr. and Mrs. J. H. Fisher, died last Friday forenoon of quick consumption, he was 15 years old. "Pat," as he was commonly called, was afflicted with spinal deformity from infancy. He was unusually bright, mentally, and on account of this and his unfortunate condition he was more privileged than most boys, wherever he went. Over a month ago his lungs became afflicted, and from that time he was little seen on the streets. His parents did everything in in their power to relieve his suffering, but to no avail. The funeral was conducted at the Catholic church, by Rev. Father Jennings on Saturday and the remains interred in the Horton cemetery.
