Obituary: Whereas, Our Heavenly Father in the dispensation of his wise providence, has permitted death for the first time to enter Flatrock Council No. 840, National Union, and removed therefrom friend Henry Egler, and Whereas, Our Council has lost a most worthy friend, the bereaved family a kind and loving father; and therefore, be it Resolved, That we as a Council, join with the bereaved family in sympathy. Resolved, That the family on whom the blow falls heaviest we commend to the guidance of Him who cares for all, and trust the loss they sustain will prove rich in Spiritual Blessings. Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be spread on the council records and a copy be sent to the Tricolor and to the local papers for publication: also a copy to the bereaved family in behalf of our Council. Resolved, That our charter be draped in mourning for a period of sixty days in respect to our deceased friend. E. W. Brubaker Florida, O., June 6, 1892 |
