We just learn of the death of Arthur, the little son of George Eggers, Jr., which occurred early Wednesday morning from the effects of diphtheria. He had been sick but a short time but the disease pushed its greedy and destroying claim to a speedy payment. He was an unusually bright little fellow and parents and friends are completely overwhelmed at the terrible affliction. The sympathy of the community goes out to them in their, great trouble. The funeral will be held at Rev. Dammon's church tomorrow.
