Burned to Death.

The little daughter of Wm. Drake living three miles east of Hamler was so severely burned on Wednesday of last week that she died the following Friday. Her mother had gone to the barn leaving the child at the house alone. Shortly afterward the child ran screaming to the barn with its clothing on fire, supposed to have caught from the stove. The mother extinguished the flames and everything possible was done to alleviate the suffering of the little one but it was of no avail and she expiied on Friday. It's the same old story of leaving small children alone in the house. Holgate Times.
