An Old Resident Dead.
Mr. Charles Dittmer, father of Infirmary Director Dittmer, of Monroe township, died at his old residence on the 29th of August, of paralysis. Mr. Dittmer was an old resident of this county, settling in Monroe township in 1861, when the country in and around that section was comparatively new. He leaves a wife and three children to mourn their loss. Mr. Dittmer was in the 68th year of his age. His funeral took place on Friday, his remains being followed to the grave by a large concourse of people.
