Obituary. Dew - Near Malinta, Ohio, November 23, 1884, Silva Silena, only daughter of Andrew J. and Mary J. Dew, aged 7 years, 3 months and 11 days.

November 29, 1884, Roe Ray followed his only sister, aged 3 years, 6 months and 11 days, both died of Spinal fever. They leave father, mother and three brothers and a number of friends to mourn their loss. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. J. W. Myers, of McClure, Ohio. Text. "Suffer the little children to come unto me and forbid them not, for of such is the kingdom of God." Mark the 10th chapter, 14th verse, from which he delivered a very interesting discourse.

Darling Silva, thon hast left us,
Never more your smiles we'll see;
But we know our loved one'e happy,
For she's crossed life's troubled sea.

Lay away the little clothing
That our darling used to wear,
Along with her little playthings;
She will never need them here.

Never will we bear the pleading
Of her gentle baby voice,
As he called unto his papa,
When he saw him around the house.

Roe Ray never again will waken
At the early hours of morn,
And caress his sleeping mamma,
With his hands so warm.
