Obituary: Ida M. Crum -- Ida M. Crum, daughter of Enoch and Lydia Gruber, was born Oct. 2, 1855, at Texas, O., and departed this life at her home in Liberty Center, O., Sunday, Oct. 10, 1937, aged 82 years and 8 days.
At the age of nine she came with her parents to Liberty Center, where she has lived the greater part of her life. She was one of a family of four children, James E. Gruber of Liberty Center, Hiram Gruber of Piqua, O., and Allen Gruber of Grand Rapids, O., all having preceded her in death.
She was united in marriage to John W. Crum of Liberty Center June 4, 1871. To this union were born three children, a daughter, Maggie, who died in infancy; and two sons, Earl and Floyd.
Mrs Crum was a kind and generous mother and neighbor, ever willing to share the burdens of others and her counsel and advice was sought by many.
She was fa member of the Methodist church since 1876 and sang in the choir for 32 years. She was a loyal member of the Pythian Sisters and enjoyed meeting with them when her health permitted her to do so. For a number of years she was a successful business woman of Liberty Center, having had to retire on account of failing health.
She leaves to mourn their loss, two sons, Earl M. Crum, of Cygnet, O.; Floyd S. Crum, of Liberty Center, O.; three grandchildren, Dahrel Crum, of Liberty Center; Mrs. Raymond Carpenter of Napoleon; Dr. Marion M. Crum, of Angola, Ind., and one great-granddaughter, Donna Belle Crum. A grandson, Myron Crum, preceded her in death.

Services were conducted by Rev. W. A. Piper, from the late residence, Tuesday afternoon. Interment was made in Young's cemetery.
