The funeral services were held Sunday morning, April 1st, at Avoca, and the remains were laid to rest in the Rockwell cemetery. Mr. C. left home March 20th, 1893. After being in Chicago for a month he went to Iowa where he entered the service of Mr. Rockwell as a farm hand, and was still in Mr. R's service at the time of his death. During his life in Iowa, Mr. Crosman gained the respect and confidence of all who knew him. On Friday, March 29th, he, in company of fifteen young folks, went to a picnic. While they were returning in the evening, William fell from the vehicle and received internal injuries from which he died before medical relief could be secured. A Friend |
