Gone to His Long Rest

Another old citizen passed from this life to his long peaceful rest on last Sabbath morning, in the person of Mr. G. G. Creager, of Harrison township. At the time of his death Mr. C. was in his 80th year, and had been sick but a few days when the sure reaper Death called him hence. He belonged to the old school Jacksonian Democrats, and we always found him working for the perpetuity of those principles which had been his from bis boyhood those promulgated by Jefferson and revered by the great Democratic party. Mr. Creager was an excellent citizen, beloved and honored in his neighborhood, a kind parent and an upright and honest man in all respects. His funeral took place from the brick church at Shnnk on Tuesday, the remains being followed to their last resting place by a large number of relatives, friends and neighbors, with whom his memory will always remain green.
