MRS. SUSAN CRAIG

On the 29th of January, 1882, in Napoleon, O., Susan, wife of Judge Alexander Craig departed this life in the 82d year of her age.

Mrs. Craig was one of the pioneers of Henry county having resided in Napoleon for over forty-six years. She was an exemplary Christian, member of the Presbyterian Church, and in the language of another -- "done what she could."

Mrs. Craig was born and raised near Gettysburg, Adams County, Pennsylvania. She removed with her mother and family to Millersburg, Holmes County, Ohio, about sixty years ago.

She was married to Judge Craig who survives her, about fifty-five years ago, was the mother of four children, two of whom are living, Mrs. Meekison and Mrs. Yeager, and leaving quite a number of grandchildren. She died in the sere and yellow leaf beloved and respected by all. She was a good and kind mother.
