Mrs. Margaret Christ, living three miles north of Hamler, was found dead in bed at her residence on last Thursday morning. She had been in her usual state of health the day before and had gone about her usual household work and made no complaint of feeling ill. She was a very corpulent lady, weighing over 300 pounds, and the cause of her death is supposed to have been apoplexy. Her funeral services were held in Hamler on Sunday, Rev. Gorden officiating. She was aged 51 years, 2 months and 29 days. Holgate Times.
