Fatal Accident. On Saturday last a young son of Robt. Casteel, living near Holgate, met with a fatal accident He was leading a young colt having the strap wrapped around his wrist, when the animal took fright and commenced to run, dragging the young man about forty rods, fracturing his skull by striking a stump and otherwise terribly bruising him. When the stump was struck, the unfortunate boy was hurled into the air and did not strike the ground again for a distance of nineteen feet Medical aid was procured, but death relieved the sufferer on Sunday. The accident east a gloom over the entire community.
