To the Commander of Choat Post 60, G. A. K. Napoleon.

We the undersigned committee appointed by you to draft resolutions of respect to the memory of our late comrade, Henry E. Cary, have the honor to report as follows:

Whereas, It has pleased the Grand Commander of the Universe to muster out our loved comrade, who has so faithfully served us as Quarter Master from the organization of this Post until his death, therefor be it

Resolved That in his death the Post loses one of its most faithful workers and kind generous comrades . Our country, one of Its most earnest defenders, and his family an Indulgent husband and father.

Resolved, That we extend to the bereaved family the sincere sympathy of this Post, and that as a mark of respect the Post room be draped in mourning for 30 days, and that a copy of these resolutions be sent to widow of our deceased Comrade published in the Napoleon papers.
