Resolutions of Respect

To the Worshipful Master, Wardens and Brethren of Napoleon Lodge No. 25G F. & A. M.: We, the undersigned committee appointed to draft resolutions on the death of our Bro. H. E. Cary, beg leave to offer the following:

WHEREAS, It has pleased an allwise providence to remove from our midst Henry E. Cary, a worthy member of our fraternity, a faithful brother, a good and true Mason, from his family a loving husband and father, and from the community an honorable and respected citizen. Be it

Resolved, That while we deeply mourn the loss of our brother, we shall ever cherish in fond remembrance his many virtues, and his name shall live in our hearts as one who was ever ready to extend the hand of charity to the distressed and needy.

Resolved, That we tender the bereaved family our most heartfelt sympathies in their affliction, and while they have lost a loving husband and father, we, as free and accepted Masons, shall be ever ready to extend to them that brotherly feeling due the widows and orphans of all worthy masons.
