Obituary:

The entire community was pained Wednesday morning on learning of the death of H. E. Cary. Mr. Cary had been suffering from paralysis for some time and death came to his relief about midnight Tuesday night. He was one of Napoleon's oldest business men, and no doubt was known by almost everybody in the county. He was born in Huron county, this State, on Jan. 14. 1838, and removed to Henry county with his parents in 1846, where he has since resided until his death. He was a soldier in the late war, having enlisted in the 163d Regiment, as Lieutenant of Co. G. He was a member of Choate Post G. A. R., and a Mason of high standing, being a member of the Knights Templar, under whose auspices, assisted by the G. A. R., his funeral will be conducted, on Sabbath next at 12 o'clock. The bereaved family has the heartfelt sympathy of the community in their deep affliction, in the loss of a kind husband and an indulgent father.
