James O. Caldwell Dead

James O. Caldwell, a former resident of this city, died at his home in East Toledo, on Friday last. Mr. C. had not lived in this county for a number of years, having left here for Kansas. He was in business in that state for some time, when he returned east, locating near Toledo a few years ago. He is the father of James W. Caldwell, the newly appointed comptroller of Toledo, who is a man of fine abilities and a respected citizen of East Toledo. At the time of his death he was 67 years of age. A severe attack of the grip was the cause of his demise. The funeral was held on Sabbath.
