DEATH OF MRS. JAS. BURNS. After a long illness Mrs. Jas. Burns died at the family residence in Liberty township, on last Sunday afternoon. At the time of death Mrs. Burns was in the 65th year of her age. The funeral took place from St. Augustine's Church on Tuesday morning, the remains being followed to their last resting place by many friends. She was born in the county of Galway, Ireland, in the year 1818. She emigrated to this country in 1851 and settled with her husband in the then wilds of Henry county, in 1852, sharing with him the hardships and privations of pioneer life. She was a kind mother, a devout Christian, and her death will be mourned by many friends left behind.
