On Monday county ex-Commission Booker in company with his family visited relatives in Holgate, for the purpose of celebrating with them the 4th of July. While all were enjoying themselves and after partaking of dinner, Mr. Booher's little son Edwin Ortis, who was playing in the yard at the time, took suddenly ill and expired in a short time. The cause of death the physicians say was congestion of the brain. The child was 1 year, 4 months and 13 days old, large for his age and an exceedingly bright little fellow. The funeral took place from the Shunk Church on yesterday. The stricken parents who in the twinkling of an eye almost, was thus deprived of a loved little one. They have the heartfelt sympathies of the entire neighborhood.
