BLINN -- On the 9th of August, 1881, Emma, daughter of Adam and Susan Bllnn, aged 8 years, 7 months and 16 days. The funeral services were held at the Shunk church, conducted by Father Shafer, from Math. 18, 3d verse: "Verily I say unto you, except ye be converted and become as little children ye shall not enter the Kingdom of Heaven." Emma was an excellent child, and none knew her but to love her. She was sick but a short time. She leaves father, mother, sisters and brothers to mourn her loss.
