Obituary:

BEVELHYMER Margaret Bevelhymer died at her home in Henry county, three miles southeast of Napoleon, August 19th, 1880, at 10 o'clock p. m. Her death was very sudden. She attended to her household duties as usual during the day, and at about the usual hour for retiring she was taken suddenly so ill that in a few moments all was over and she retired from the cares of this world forever. Thus ends the life of a christian mother; her husband preceded her twenty-six years to that long home. Three sons and two daughters live to mourn the loss of their faithful mother two sons and one daughter are married, one son and one daughter are still single and held their abode In the old home with their mother. The mother's example and instruction before her children were calculated to make them true and useful, and if any of them are lost and take up their abode among the unhappy, they do so contrary to the wishes and prayers of their mother. May the children live to meet their mother on the Happy Shore Beyond. Margaret Bevelhymer lived in Henry county 36 years died at the age of 57 years. She bore bravely the hardships of life and a new country. Her death was from heart disease. The funeral services were held August 21st, at Calvary Church, conducted by the writer; the remains were interred in the ad joining cemetery.

To the grave we all must go,
To the land of bliss or woe.
To a land all free from care
Or a kind of dark despair.
Rev. E. D. Paulin
