Death of an Old Pioneer

John Beck, an old pioneer of this county, died at his home on Clinton street Monday afternoon, of heart trouble. At the time of his death Mr. Beck was in the 78th year of his age. Some ten years ago he retired from his farm in Ridgeville township and came to Napoleon to live and spend the remaining years of his life. The funeral took place yesterday morning from the Catholic church, a large concourse of relatives and friends paying a last tribute to the departed. The family have the sympathy of the community.
