Sad Accident. Mr. Jacob Beaver, of Damascus township, was severely Injuredon Saturday last, by being knocked from the track of the narrow gauge railroad near McClure. Mr. Beaver was walking on the road-bed about a mile from thetown; he heard the engine whistle to notify him to leave the track, but he was too slow in complying with the warning and was struck by the engine and thrown from the track. One of his arms was broken and be was otherwise injured, so much so that at last accounts no hopes were had of his recovery.
