Resolutions of Respect.

Died, Aug. 28th, 1886, John Barnhart, late of Co. F. 68th O.V.I. Killed by lightning. Without warning the grim angel of death called his name and for the last time comrade Barnhart answered to his name in the world where the supreme grand commander rules alone.

Resolved, That in the death of comrade Barnhart our Post lost a valued and honored member. His neighbors a good friend and his family a kind and generous protector.

Resolved, That Choat Post extend to his bereaved family its most hearty sympathy and assurance that in so far as it is possible, it will endeavor to take his place as a friend of the widow and a father to the fatherless children.

Resolved, That well may the comrades of this Post cherish the fond memories of our deceased comrade and emulate his virtues, which are many, and strive to deserve the blessing showered upon our organization.

Resolved, That a copy of these resolutions be furnished the widow of our deceased comrade and be published in the county papers.

D. Musser, S. Martin, W. V. McHenry, Committee.>/p>
