Resolutions of Respect.

To the M. W. Wardens and Brothers of Napoleon Lodge No. 256, F. and A. M.:

The undersigned, appointed a committee on resolutions on the death of Brother Jacob Bales, beg leave to offer the following:

WHEREAS, on the morning of the 20th of September, A. D. 1886, A. L. 5886, it has pleased Almighty God to suddenly summon from among us our beloved Bro., Jacob Bales, in the 64th year of his sojourn here on earth.

Resolved, that in the deceased we mourn the loss of a faithful and upright brother; the family, an affectionate husband and kind father; the community, an esteemed citizen.

Resolved, that we humbly bow before Him, whose call the deceased brother has answered.

Resolved, that we extend most sincere sympathy to the family in this' the hour of their desolation. Resolved, that the lodge be draped in mourning for the space of thirty days. . Resolved, that a copy of these resolutions be presented to the family of the deceased and the same be furnished each ofthe county papers for publication.
