Obituary

Mary E. Sheats, nee Bender, wife of Edwin Sheats, was born in Holmes county, O., March 2nd, 1856, died at her home in Harrison township, Henry county, Ohio, July 8th, 1893, at the age of 37 years, 4 months and 6 days. She leaves a husband, two children, a mother, father, and a large circle of relatives and friends. To them were born three children, one of whom (a son) died when but a babe. Mrs. Sheats was kind and faithful to all whom it was her lot to meet, and hosts of friends wherever her home chanced to be, and her death will be felt by all.

She was a sufferer for nearly a year, able only a part of the time to resume the duties of wife and mother in her home, but at last God saw fit to remove her from her suffering.
