Henry County Genealogical Society Newsletter
Volume 8, Number 2, March-April 1994

MEETINGS

March 21, 1994, Monday, 7:00 pm

Henry County member Darrell “Babe” Tussing will give an overview of three topics: Palatines, Using Technology in Genealogy, and the Tussing Family in Bartlow Twp.

April 18, 1994, Monday, 7:00 pm

We will meet at the courthouse in Napoleon to tour the newly renovated Probate Office where birth, marriage and estate records are kept. They have recently provided a nice workroom for genealogists. The Probate Office is on the second floor; enter at the back door by the parking lot.

DON’T FORGET ! ! !

The deadline to apply for First Families of Henry County is Apr. 30.

PLEASE submit only queries that relate to Henry County!

NEW PUBLICATIONS

Ancestor Chart Book II and Obituaries from the Deshler Flag Vol. X, (1943-47) will soon be ready. The cost of both of these books will be $10 plus $2 postage and handling.

COST INCREASE

We have recently reprinted a number of our books. Increased printing costs force us to increase the price of our books AS OF APRIL 1. (No April Fool’s joke!) All books which have been listed at $8 will then be $10. All books which have been $10 will then be $12. (Plus postage.) A new price list appears on the back of this newsletter. Order before April 1 at the old price.
