Searching for the family of George Washington LOWERY born 10 Jan 1828, Franklin Co., PA and died 22 Oct 1902, buried Marion Township Cemetery with wife Barbara Ann Lowe born 22 Jan 1829, Franklin Co., PA died 26 July 1901. Moved to Henry County ca. 1885. George fought in the Civil War and may have delivered mail in the Hamler area. Obit lists 9 children: Anna Malinda WEAGLEY, Mary Ellen SHANK, William, George Martin, Sara SMITH, John Philip, Edwin, Mayette Katherine LOWE and Charles, my gr- grandfather.
