Prominent Liberty Ctr. Resident Takes Own Life Thursday
Ward W. Young, for years a prominent merchant of Liberty Center, ended his life at his home in that village last thursday night by shooting himself in the head.
The body was found by his wife who said she had left her husband alone in the house for a few minutes.
Coroner Hagen was called and rendered a verdict of suicide brought on by illness.
The deceased conducted a general store in Liberty Center until about fifteen years ago, when he sold out to Roy A. Beilharz. Shortly afterwards the firm of Young and Ducat opened a store in Paulding in which Mr. Young was interested at the time of his death.
