Alice Ann Young, 70, of Liberty Center died Monday afternoon at Medical College of Ohio Hospital, Toledo.
Born Feb. 12, 1932, in West Unity, she was the daughter of Edward and Rufina (Manolf) Riegsecker. On June 24, 1951, she married Robert Young, who survives.
She was a clerk at Liberty Pharmacy for several years and also worked at Wal-Mart in Napoleon. She retired in 1990. She was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, Napoleon, and was a member of the church’s shepherd committee and the Child Conservation League. She was formerly a member and organist at Colton United Methodist Church and a former member of Pacific Chapter #63, O.E.S., Liberty Center.
She is also survived by a son, Jack of Pettisville; two daughters, Jill Baker and Jayna Small, both of Liberty Center; a brother, Robert Riegsecker of Archbold; a sister, Vonalee Riegsecker of Alameda, Calif.; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Nelda Glanz.
Services will be 2 p.m. Thursday at Christ United Methodist Church, Pastor Kirk F. Peterson officiating. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Visitation will be from 2-9 p.m. Wednesday at Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center and from noon to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church.
