Lydia Jean Wulff was born in New York state on Aug 1, 1901, and departed this life following about 25 years off ill health on Dec. 8, 1957 at the Sharpe Nursing Home, Napoleon, at the age of 56 years, 4 months and 7 days.
Mrs. Wulff was united in marriage to Carlton Wulff on Sept., 9, 1925. She lived in Detroit until July 10, 1954, when they moved to Napoleon, and at the time of her death they resided at 604 Beckham Street.
She leaves to mourn her going away her husband, Carlton; one sister, Mrs. Emma Harrison of Detroit, Mich.; two brothers, Edward of Elmira, N. Y. and Harold Hess of Syracuse, N. Y. Her parents preceded her in death.
She is also survived by her husband’s relatives of Napoleon and Liberty Center. His parents, Mr. and Mrs. John Wulff and several sisters and brothers, among other relatives and friends.
Funeral services were conducted from the Liberty Center Methodist Church on Wednesday, Dec. 11 at 2 p.m. with Rev. David L. Eichar officiating. Burial was in Young’s Cemetery. Myron Walker was the mortician.
