Kenneth Wolcott, 67, of Liberty Center died Wednesday at Heatherdowns Convalescent Center in Toledo.
Born Oct. 18, 1927, he was the son of Fay and Nancy (Williams) Wolcott. On May 24, 1963, he married Carolee McLaughlin, who survives.
He was a World War II Army veteran and a press operator for Clevite until he retired in 1990. He was a life member of the Wauseon American Legion as well as a member of the Liberty Center Village Council and Board of Public Affairs in the late 1980s.
He is also survived by a son, Kent of Goose Creek, S.C.; two daughters, Kelli Merringer of Pickerington and Nancy Gaynier of Trenton, Mich.; a stepdaughter, Ila Mae King of Sarasota, Fla.; a sister, Patricia Rashley of Wauseon: a brother, Fay Wolcott of Denver, Colo.; and six grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, Stanley and Bernard.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday at the Wright Funeral Home in Liberty Center, Pastor William Thompson officiating. Interment will be at Youngs Cemetery in Liberty Center.
Visitation will be after 2 p.m. Friday at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorials be made to St. Paul Lutheran Church, Northwest Kidney Foundation or the Leukemia Foundation.
