Billy Gary Williams, 58, of Liberty Center died Wednesday, March 18, 2009, at his home with loving family by his side.
Billy was born Nov. 7, 1950, in Stirrat, W.Va., to Donald Robert and Georgia Mae (Romines) Williams. He married Vickie Evans on Jan. 27, 1969, in the Wesleyan Church, Napoleon, and she survives.
Also surviving are his mother and step father, Georgia and Billy Adkins, Reynoldsburg; three children, Shanda (Ron) Schuette, Okolona, Shawn (Stacy) Williams, Liberty Center, and Robin Williams, Napoleon; seven grandchildren; a step grandson; two brothers, Donald Tom and Jackie (Rose) Williams, both of Napoleon; and two step sisters, Pam Braswell and Kim Caldwell, both of Reynoldsburg.
His father and grandmother, Marie Gibson Zion, preceded him in death.
Mr. Williams retired in 2006 after 36 years of employment with Campbellās Soup Co. in Napoleon, where he was a checker in the warehouse. Billy loved the outdoors, especially hunting, fishing and camping with his family and friends. He was a member of First Baptist Church, Napoleon, and a veteran of the U.S. Army.
Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Saturday, March 21, 2009, at the First Baptist Church, 1304 LaGrange St., Napoleon. Burial will follow at Youngs Cemetery, Liberty Center. Visitation will be Friday from 2-9 p.m. in the Wright-Hobbs Funeral Home, Liberty Center.
