Forest West was born near Liberty Center, Ohio, September 30, 1883, and died at his home in that place March 29, 1919, aged 35 years, 5 months and 23 days.
He grew to manhood in Liberty Center and on September 21, 1906 he was married to Miss Maud Violet Sharp, who preceded him to the great beyond a year ago last November. To this union were born four children, Wayne, Adeline, Royce and Berneice, Berneice having passed away May 10, 1917.
Forest was adopted into Liberty Center Lodge No. 8665 Modern Woodmen of America Jan 17, 1918, a lodge that he appreciated very much.
He had many friends, as was shown in his last illness, and he often expressed his thankfulness to them, to the Red Cross and others for their kindness.
He leaves to mourn, father, sister, three children, with numerous relatives and a large circle of friends.
The funeral service was held in the Reformed church before an audience filling the house, Pastor D. K. Martz serving.
