Amanda Alspaugh Weakley was born in Fairfield county, Ohio, July 4th, 1844, and departed this life at her home in Liberty Center, Ohio, September 10th, 1921, being 77 yrs., 2 months and 6 days old.
She was married to Marion Weakley in 1867, and to this union were born two children, Dora May Bowers and Wilbur A. Weakley, deceased. They also reared a foster child, Blanche Alspaugh Weakley, whom they loved as their own.
She leaves to mourn, her husband, two children, Dora Bowers and Mrs. Blanche Overmire, 10 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, one brother Naaman Alspaugh, one sister, Mrs. Florence Foncanon, besides many other relatives and friends.
Mr. and Mrs. Weakley are of the early settlers of Henry county and consequently their labors and hardships have been abundant.
She has been a member of the Methodist Episcopal church from her youth.
