Virginia M. "Ginny" Warner April 15, 1920 - Dec. 27, 2007
Virginia Margaret "Ginny" Warner, 87, of Liberty Center died Thursday at Country View Haven.
Born April 15, 1920, in Toledo, she was the daughter of William and Austa (Whetstone) Bureau. On Nov. 14, 1942, she married Lawrence F. "Larry" Warner, who survives.
She was a beautician in Liberty Center and was later employed at Wauseon Wire, where she was union president. She also worked for Perfection Finishing, Wauseon, and was known as "Fluffy the Clown," whom she played for many years at birthday parties, parades and various school functions. She was a volunteer with the American Red Cross and the Henry County Hospital Auxiliary and was a longtime member of the Order of Eastern Star.
She is also survived by two sons, Robert F. (Cirila) and Dan W. (Kathy), both of Liberty Center; a daughter, Karol (Michael) Westhoven of Liberty Center; a brother, John Bureau of Perrysburg; two sisters, Kate Carpenter of Toledo and Bonnie Ziegler of Wauseon; and six grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three brothers, Harry, Robert and Donald Bureau; and a sister, Mary Jo Lindau.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Saturday at Wright Funeral Home, Liberty Center, Rev. David MacDonald officiating. Interment will follow at Youngs Cemetery in Liberty Center.
Visitation will be 2-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
The family suggests memorial contributions be made to the H.O.M.E. Society or the Liberty Center Fire Department.
