Ruth Warner, 86, Liberty Center, died Sunday evening in the Northwest Care Center, Wauseon.
She was born on October 27, 1893, to Homer and Dora Mae (Weakley) Bowers. On April 4, 1914, she married Floyd Warner, and he died in 1972.
The deceased was a member of the United Methodist Church in Liberty Center and the United Methodist Women. She was a Past Worthy Matron and 50-year member of the Pacific Chapter #63 of the Order of the Eastern Star in Liberty Center and belonged to the Past Matrons Club.
Surviving are a son, Lawrence, Liberty Center; a daughter, Mrs. Aubrey (Jean) Kessler, Napoleon; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a brother, Wayne Bowers, Grants Pass, Oregon; and a sister, Maude Mann, Liberty Center.
Services will be held at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday in the Walker Mortuary, Napoleon, the Reverend Tom Hanover officiating. A memorial service will be held at 8 p.m. Tuesday in the mortuary by the Pacific Chapter #63 O.E.S. Interment will be in Young’s Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call at the mortuary from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday.
The family suggests that memorials may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice.
