George W. Warner, eldest son of Daniel and Rebecca Warner, was born in Seneca Co., hear Tiffin, Ohio, on Dec. 12, 1838, and died Nov. 16, 1919, at the home of his son, Leander, near Liberty Center, O., aged 80 years, 11 months and 4 days.
Deceased was united in marriage with Ermina Hollopeter, deceased, July 12, 1863, and to this union were born ten children, seven sons and three daughters: Phoebe, wife of Jacob Myers, Pleasant Lake, Ind.; Sylvester, Daniel (deceased), Martha, wife of Levi King, Deshler, Harper, Artie, wife of Delbert Ritter, Detroit, Leander, R. B. and Frederick.
Mr. Warner came to Henry Co. in the spring of 1867 and resided here until his death.
He leaves to mourn their loss nine children, thirty grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters and a host of other relatives.
The funeral services were held at the Reformed church in Liberty Center, Tuesday Nov. 18, conducted by the minister, D. E. Martz. Interment in Youngs Cemetery.
