Wilbur Willmet Ward was born in Liberty Center, O., October 10th, 1877 and died July 26th, 1908, aged 30 years, 7 months and 16 days.
Funeral services at M. E. church July 28th, at 10 a.m., conducted by Rev. W. H. Baker, assisted by Rev. W. H. Smith.
Wilbur was a genial, good-natured young man, and had many friends who mourn his departure to that borne from whence no traveler ever returns. He leaves to mourn: father, mother, one brother and two sisters. He was the eldest son of Amos A. Ward and wife, and had always lived in Liberty Center, and his life from babyhood is known by all those who have lived here for 30 years or more.
Wilbur never made any profession of religion, and during his last sickness did not care to be talked with upon the subject. We leave him in the hands of a just God, knowing that He will deal justly by him, and with a merciful hand mete out the reward that is due him.
