Homer Steward, 86, 37 Clinton Street, died Sunday at 1:40 p.m. in Heller Memorial Hospital.
A Fulton County farmer, he was born April 9, 1884, in Liberty Center, the son of Matthew and Alice (Mitchell) Steward.
Mr. Steward was a member of Sharon United Methodist Church, Harrison Township.
Surviving are his wife, Helen; two sons, Lowell and John, both of Napoleon; three daughters, Mrs. George (Crystal) Reed, West New York, New Jersey, Mrs. Don (Mary) Nartker, Liberty Center, Mrs. T. H. (Evelyn) Kelly, Tucson, Arizona; nin grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. in the Sharon United Methodist Church, Reverend Abraham New, pastor, and Reverend B. C. Krugh, former pastor, officiating. Interment will be in Young Cemetery, Liberty Center.
Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. tonight, and 2 to 4, 7 to 9 p.m. Tuesday at the Walker Mortuary.
